Yeah, of course. I'm just saying. But the thing is, they used the -E for 11 years, then switched to the -F for some reason. If they'd used it all along, hell, I wouldn't be talking, it makes no difference, after all. But the switch from a single seater to a double seater, for whatever reason they had, is awkward, unless they want to press the point that it's a strike fighter.
The same applies to the F-35. They used the -C version so far, but are going with the -B this time, which is inferior in all aspects other than VSTOL, and we haven't seen any indication that they're using it. That one, however, has a much simpler reason: OOH-RAH!

It has a lift fan so heavy... it cracks the airframe lol.

Also, it seems that the Superbug actually blocks an actual Fishbed. There's a word "MiG-21" on the Superbug with an arrow pointing at it
