Overview:
The EF-2000E Typhoon II is a fictional upgraded, COFFIN-equipped variant of the Typhoon multi-role fighter. Operated exclusively by UPEO in large numbers due to its low cost of manufacture and maintenance, it is a common sight at many UPEO bases. The only discernible difference between the standard EF-2000 and the EF-2000E is the addition of engines of greater thrust allowing a difference of 736km/h (an increase of Mach .34) in maximum speed over the standard EF-2000 and the installation of a COFFIN system.

The Typhoon II was used in the early stages of the corporate war, mainly in fast skirmishes with Neucom forces. Despite all modernization, it was severely underpowered and was quickly surpassed by other types and eventually phased out by UPEO.

I can't agree with you more, jet. I mean, I can undertand that it was the starter aircraft in the game, but, come on. It was still a Typhoon.

The design for the typhoon started in the late 70's and with the multinational consortium dilly dallying thanks to the fall of the Soviet Union and the loss of any coherent threat, what you see in the skies is really a 4.5th gen fighter vs the f-22 which is a true 5th gen fighter.

So it isn't that far to make an assumption that the EF-2000 would be kinda basic in the year 2045 considering that they didnt change the structure much (except for the COFFIN) and only installed better engines.

Dude, that Typhoon is the sexiest looking plane ever. You've gotta make Rena's Su-37R.

How do we know that the EF-2KE was phased out later in the war?

ACS is a anarchy where you can get away with any stupid comment, if you like ACS fine but you're wrong. No matter what logic you come up with. It is only "fun" in an online world were these conditions of anonymity exist and people can escape their lives and play alpha pseudo intellectual.
