Ok, I'm seeing some friction between 'Demon Lord Razgriz' & 'Heinkel'. Before this turns into some sort of flame, I am asking both members to resolve this through the diplocatic channels. I am just giving out a verbal warning to both of you. Both of you can still discuss this in this area, but don't flame each other over an opinion.

I ain't trying to start a flame war Gold, I just put down what I read in all my military fact books I have. I have over 150 at last count, and I am constantly looking for more. I'm sorry if it seems that I'm trying to start something, but I just state the facts I get.

Aaaaanyway... looking ahead a few years: how do you suppose the war would have turned out if Osea and Yuktobania had successfully obtained the V1s and deployed them? I would think that, true to their real-world parallels, had a nuclear arsenal by that time, but... I think that the outcome would have been considerably different if Belka succeeded.

I dunno. Either way, we are straying off topic.

So if Belka distributed the V1s, who would use them first? I think that Yuktobania would jump at the chance, considering just how close the enemy had gotten to Cinigrad. They would have pointed that rocket right towards Oured as soon as they got it.

I would think that they would fire it at a weak link in the logistic train. That would stall Osea's advance on Cinigrad long enought for a counterattack.

They would have used them as what they are: tactical nukes to be used in the battlefield along with normal forces

Yes, but remember, the Osean army was right outside the capital city. If they used the nuke there, the number of deaths would be very high. The best place to use a tac. nuke is where it would do the most damage to the enemy, like the logistic train of the enemy army. With their supplys gone, the Oseans would've fell quickly to a counterattack. It's all about tactics, where & when do you attack and where & when you do not attack.

Attacking logistics and cities are a strategical nuke's role, not a tactical one's

The difference between the two are very burry. Still, the Yukes had from the looks of it only 1 nuke, they would have used it the best way possible. Plus, tac. nukes are better suited for the supply train, the line of truck with food, guns, ammo, etc. due to the fact that there are point along the train where alot of the trucks must go though to the froutlines. Take that point out with a tac. nuke and they have to redirect the supply elsewhere to get to the froutline.

Another thought: why not do as the Allies did to Hofnung? Sever the supply lines and annihilate the war effort while instilling terror - the ultimate blow to supplement the loss of the Razgriz. Osea would be ultimately demoralized at that point. Their only option would be to use THEIR Belkan nuke, thus breaking the will of both countries.

I wonder why they didn't use the Radioactive Detonators before June 6th. I mean... if you're willing to sacrifice your own people, you should have no problem with nuking your enemy. Deploying nuclear bombers is one thing, but deploying small teams of men with Nuclear Detonators would be almost impossible to stop. It'd probably be possible to plant these things in allied cities, near allied bases or large concentrations of troops.
