Games Featured In:

Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War
Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation

Operators:

Bana City News
Estovakian Army
Osean Maritime Defense Force
Republic of Emmeria Navy

Variants:
HH-9B (AC5)
UH-9 (AC6)

Notable Units:
Sea Goblin / OMDF (AC5)
Bird Eater / REN (AC6)
Swallow Tail / REN (AC6)
Yellow Jacket / REN (AC6)

Overview:
This fictional helicopter seems to be based on the real world UH/SH-60 helicopter. It is used for multi-mission purposes, ranging from Search and Rescue, Special Ops Infiltration, and as a V.I.P. transport. As seen during a rescue operation in Ace Combat 5, the Osean HH-9B can be equipped with various weapons, ranging from window mounted Gatling guns to anti-tank missiles. A civilian version of this helicopter is also used by a Bana City news organization.

In the Emmerian and Estovakian militaries, the helicopter is known as the UH-9; like its Osean counterpart, is used for similar multipurpose duties. The HH-9B / UH-9 is surprisingly fast for a helicopter; (roughly, 400mph at least) well beyond the performance envelope of most other similar helicopters.

A friend of mine did some side views based on the pictures in the thread. He took some liberties, but I think they're pretty accurate.

Well maybe that, or they wanted to put in a 'customized' version of it.

ACS is a anarchy where you can get away with any stupid comment, if you like ACS fine but you're wrong. No matter what logic you come up with. It is only "fun" in an online world were these conditions of anonymity exist and people can escape their lives and play alpha pseudo intellectual.
