Biography:
Hans Grimm was born in 1991. It is unknown where he was born, though it is most likely Osea; although their is a possible relative of his who was a Belkan ace during the Belkan War. Grimm was a very eager and adept pilot, but he was also very nervous and constantly unsure of himself. However, his piloting skills proved that he was a competent aviator and a vital military asset.
Details about Grimm's family are scarce. He had an older brother, who served in the Osean Army during the Invasion of Yuktobania. Hans looked up to his brother and was compelled to make his older brother proud. During his childhood, he dreamed of being a fighter pilot.
Grimm joined the OADF in 2009 as a trainee under the 108th TFS Wardog. He was still just an airman in September 2010 when an incident involving combat with unidentified aircraft occurred, in which more than a dozen trainees and two instructors were shot down. Fortunately, he was one of the few pilots grounded during the exercise. When the Yuktobanians launched a air raid on Sand Island, Wardog took off to assist the aerial defense. During the middle of the battle, Grimm used Captain Bartlett's replacement F-5E to try to help defend the base, even though he was still not out of training. Despite protests from Ground Control and Wardog Squadron, Grimm joined the battle, downing several fighters even as he referred to the plane's manual during combat. He and the rest of Wardog were able to defend the base.
After the battle, he officially became a member of Wardog Squadron, Wardog 4. From that point on, he took part in every operation the squadron did. Like the rest of Wardog, he received much fame and publicity due to their heroics in combat. But also like the rest of Wardog, he was always under suspicion of upper echelons of the Osean Military; and on December 7th, he and the rest of Wardog were labeled as Yuktobanian infiltrators by the OADF, and were ordered to be captured. Wardog tried to flee, but was shot down by Captain Snow of the OFS Kestrel over the Solo Islands. Hans Grimm, as well as the rest of Wardog squadron, were listed as KIA.
However, they had actually survived, and, joined by Captain Snow and using the Kestrel as a HQ, continued to fight as the Razgriz Squadron. Grimm, as part of the Razgriz, uncovered the Belkan conspiracy behind the war between Osea and Yuktobania, and were able to defeat the group before it could annihilate either nation. After saving Oured from the threat of the SOLG and its V2 Warheads, Grimm, like the rest of the Razgriz, disappeared from history. His current whereabouts are unknown.
