Operators:
Osean Air Defense Force
Aurelian Air Force

Biography:
This Neutralizing Agent is first deployed by the Osean Air Defense Forces'. It is designed to be dropped from an aircraft and explode upon impact near the source of a device emitting Chemical Gases. Upon explosion, a large white cloud is emitted into the air and the targeted chemical is neutralized. The NTRL can be equipped to multiple aircraft. When deployed by Aurelian aircraft, high-G maneuvering caused damaged to the aircraft, because of the stress put on the aircraft caused by the weight of the NTRL.

Osean Air Defense Force Capital District Air Command deployed this Agent in Bana City on November 4th, 2010. A Yuktobanian Special Forces unit deployed multiple Chemical Gas devices throughout the Osean City, in a dual pronged attack which targeted Osean civilians in Bana City and Apito International Air Port. A squadron was scrambled by Capital District Air Command, with the Neutralizing Agent. The Neutralizing Agent successfully neutralized all Chemical Gases within Bana City, before civilian casualties mounted. The aircraft used was the Mirage 2000D.

In 2020, during the Leasath-Aurelia War the NTRL was deployed by the Aurelian Air Force. After Aurelian Forces retook Port Patterson from the Leasath Military, the Leasath Army's Special "Hamlet" unit deployed Cynocrine throughout the city. Gryphus One deployed the Neutralizing Agent, before the Cynocrine began its oxidation reaction.

Thanks! The only reason I remembered this was because I was playing AC5 for the first time in a few months. laugh.gif

I wonder, though... if anyone has ACX and they're neutralizing Cynocrine, can they tell me what kind of weapon you're using?

God, I have so much hatred for the ACX mission. The neutralising agent used there isn't actually named, but it can be equipped to any aircraft. Unfortunately, it means that you can't manoeuvre well. Too much stress on the airframe apparently makes the entire thing explode. Which is a pain, because you're sort of being shot at the whole time.

It's marked as "NTRL (Neutralizing Agent)" in the weapon slot, and you're given ninety-nine (99) right from the outset, on Easy. The quantity may differ with different difficulty modes; I haven't checked that yet. You're permitted regular air-to-air missiles as well, but since you can't manoeuvre quickly, it's hard to get off a shot on the opposition.

I hope that answers your question! If not, I have the game right here, I can double-check anything else you need. biggrin.gif

I'm sorry, but I only handle Ace Combat signature requests!

Pretty good. Did you take that?

Also, WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I've missed you, man.
