Biography:
Vincent Harling was elected President of Osea in late 2004 / Early 2005. Harling carried the heavy burden of an established superpower from the day he took office, though he was anti-war from the beginning.

In 2010, during his second term in office, Harling was kidnapped on his way to the neutral country of North Point by the Belkan aggressor squadron posing as the Osean 8492nd squadron. He was on his way to North Point for peace talks concering the Circum-Pacific war that was being fought at the time.

He was taken to Stier Castle, in the Waldreich Mountains. There he sat for months with nothing to do but stare at the seven craters left behind from the tragic events of June 6th, when seven Belkan towns were vapourized by their own leaders.

He was rescued by the Ghosts of Razgriz, and taken back to the OFS Kestrel where he gave the Razgriz information on his captors and their plots. When Yuktobanian Prime Minister Nikanor was also taken to the Kestrel by Captain Jack Bartlett, they spoke together of peace to their soldiers. This was mostly effective, and a great number of soldiers came over to the President's side and assisted the Razgriz in destroying the SOLG and it's controls.

Harling classified all information on the "Ghosts of Razgriz" for fifteen years, and it is not known how long he stayed in office after the Circum-Pacific war and the Belkan Conflict ended.
