ORSON PERRAULT
-Commander, Sand Island Air Base

Personal Information:
Name: Orson Perrault
Rank: Lieutenant Colonel
Call Sign: ?
Nationality: Osean
Age: 48
Sex: Male
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 233 lbs
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Green
Blood Type: O

Biography:
The Base Commander of Sand Island; Lieutenant Colonel Perrault is gruff, arrogant, and extremely patriotic and proud. He is somewhat dim-witted, made obvious by his hoodwinking by Captain Hamilton. Attitude-wise, he is very rough with his pilots most of the time, but this charade disappears when they are in danger; such as when Captain Kei Nagase was shot down over the Yuke prison camp in Glubina. Orson Perrault was a decent CO during the entire Circum-Pacific War. He brought Sand Island through several attacks, and watched some of the greatest air combat pilots grow and flourish under his watchful eyes.

His fate after the war ended is currently unknown.

You might want to watch the cutscenes again.. Perrault is a Lt Colonel.

Also listen to the communications during the Frontline mission. He refers to himself a Lt Col. Perrault.

Really? In the mission where you and the 'Bird sink the 'Faxi, he says, "I know, I know! All units, this is COLONEL Perrault at base command. Do everything in your power to stop those forces."

It was on the old AC5 site... they took it down. :|

Also, Lieutenant Colonels are called "Colonel" for short.

Despite the fact Colonel and Lt. Colonel are two separate ranks, the latter being one lower.

I think from what you might be able to make out from the Final Option cutscene, he has the oak leaf on his shoulders. I guess that makes him a Lt. Col., then.

Speaking of Lt. Colonels, who was that Ford guy that got bagged in the air raid, apart from the supposed "Highness/Wardog replacement leader"?

So, Ford was the superior/mentor of all of them? (Even though nobody blinked an eye when he was merked besides Chopper saying "He's trailing fire, the LC's gone down!")

maybe because he was just the leader on paper. The Squadron spent most of their time on Sand Island with the Flight leads while LTC Ford remained on the mainland.

I think Namco kinda f'd up with Ford... I think he's actually the commander of the 5th Air Wing, but that's all conjecture.

Well we obviously don't know much about him since there's no article for him on ES.

There's not a lot to know - there's not a lot of information about him in-game, so we're kind of stuck.

Methinks that LTC Ford was actually Ensign Ricky.
