Namco skimped on the models in game due to the PSX not having enough power to properly render what was in the design drawings (design drawings were more "organic" looking which uses more polygons per model instead of just flat surfaces).

That doens't count! I'm just saying, I would like it if they had made it a little more different than the F-22A. Of at least not called it the "Raptor II" (The "II" implies it is a diiferent aircraft with the same name.)
