Ok. So... I wonder why Schwarze MiG-31s seem to have HAX agility compared to the player controlled one?

Also, do they use their R-33s against you? Coz' in hard, I never get a missile alert outside 5200 feet range (Unlike Schnee and Silber)

I'm pretty sure I've seen that paint scheme in AC. Can someone please confirm?

You're right. This is default Belkan and Riese scheme.

It's also featured in Codemaster's game Heatseeker, right?

So, how about the COSM in his MiG-31M? Last time I fought it, he was so annoying by spamming flares like crazy and outmaneuvering missiles like nobody's business!

Gaviria's MiG-31 is worse in co-op multiplayer... it's worse than the hax varcolac.

Thinking about the Foxhound, an idea about why it was left as an NPC-only aircraft in Assault Horizon came to my mind. The explanation? Close Range Assault. Allow me to explain:

In one hand, tight turns and maneuvers that make ACAH look like Zone of the Enders are par for the course in Dogfight Mode. In the other, the Foxhound is characterized by high speed but low maneuverability. In DFM, the MiG-31's poor mobility would, more often than not, allow smaller and nimbler planes to out-turn it. Sure, these Aviadvigatel turbofans will get you anywhere in the battlefield, but that won't mean nothing if the plane's mobility keeps screwing you over in CRA.

That's most likely the explanation. They weren't able to fit the Mig-31 in the game's mechanics.

Also spends most of its time flying underground. The worst trick is when it dives underground when in a middle of a furbal, forcing you into a crash >_>

I bet all planes in Strangereal have tunnel making capability.. that's why it's so easy for them to make those tunnel bases like Archelon fortress.

Well, this also applies to hostiles in AH, which sucks. And Warwolf 1 have capabilities to regenerate health after taking battle damage as long as it hasn't taken too much, and you don't choose Ace Difficulty.

True. But then explain me their godly maneuverability AND ability to engage DFM rather easily in ICBM. Ah, ze CPU, why you torture us so.

I am sorry, but I was too busy throwing my controller around due to the haxxed plot armor of that ICBM to notice... What is this, I do not even.

For me, it should be a player controlled aircraft. How do you explain 90º turns in a Nighthawk?! Maneuverability is no excuse.

Try slowing down and pulling for the sides. That's a high-G turn. In real life, the airframe would be critically damaged, despite the fact i made a turn inside a Su-33 at online multiplayer and shot it down.
