Su-37R Super Flanker-R
- Rena's Personal Terminator -

GAMES FEATURED IN:
Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere

OPERATORS:
Universal Peace Enforcement Organization

ACE SQUADRONS/PILOT:
Rena Hirose; UPEO

VARIANTS:
Su-37

WEAPONS:
Vulcan Machine Gun
Cannon
Standard Missile

Rena's Su-37 in Action
- the Su-37R attacking White Valley Air Base -

OVERVIEW:
This version of the Su-37 "Terminator" is specialized for the Universal Peace Enforcement Organization's pilot prodigy, Rena Hirose. Rena was born with Silverstone Disease, making her vulnerable to sunlight, which can harm her and possibly kill her. The Flanker is equipped with sun-deflection Systems and an advanced version of the ENSI dubbed "OPTONEURON" to interface directly with Rena's surgically enhanced body . This enables extreme-G capability and finer aircraft control than contemporary COFFIN equipped aircraft. The Super Flanker's body is also strengthened in order to accommodate Rena's flight capabilities. The aircraft's measurements and engines match that of a standard Super Flanker operated by the SARF of the UPEO.

Can you fly the Su-37R as Nemo in the game?

Yes you can. But is a deception, because you can't see the cockpit (Is the only variation with the Su-37 Super Flanker) (I don't count the color like a variation tongue.gif)

This plane is badass, the mission when you shoot down the 4 Mobura in 1:30 is very difficult and so epic!

The name is wrong because in game it just says "Su-37 Super Flanker R". If you want to check look in the Mission Simulator in the AC3E JP Edition.

I think...well...

We might have added the "R" for navigiation sake in this case. It would totally be on us, not an official designation. But (and I can't remember cause I never got this far) is it possible that the in-game target reticule lists it as Su-37R? That might be why we did it...

It is in game designator methinks. Just to make it "different" to standard ones..

The "choose your plane" option designator? Have you checked on it?

Well this is the list of Aces aircraft in AC3E JP Edition if you use the Deadcopy Save Data (which is from the AppenDisc) to unlock all aircraft.
