The 2nd Strike Fighter Squadron is a Naval squadron in the Republic of Emmeria's Navy. This squadron flies F/A-18F aircraft, and is led by Freddie Durand.

This squadron was there when Gracemeria was invaded, and then moved to back up the 28th Tactical Fighter Squadron during the Emmerian counter-attack across the Anean continent. After the war, this squadron is still active

Born in Emmeria in 1980, Freddie Durand became the leader of the 2nd Strike Fighter Squadron shortly before the Estovakian attack on Gracemeria. Although motivated to defend the capital, he lacked experience, and was unable to prevent the capture of Gracemeria. Humiliated, he was forced to flee to Khesed. Afterward's, he gained valuable experience during the many sorties alongside Garuda Team, eventually becoming the central part of the Naval Air Wing that assisted in the liberation of Gracemeria. His good looks and reassuring confidence caused him to become, like Garuda Team, a source of inspiration to the citizens of Emmeria.
