AURELIAN LIBERATION CORPS
-Aurelian Resistance Force-

Background:
The Aurelian Liberation Corps, (ALC), was a small resistance group formed of Aurelian civilians with the main goal of running Leasath out of Aurelia. Formed of civlians, they weren’t the most organized or coordinated groups, and some of their stunts caused more trouble for the Aurelian Forces than the Leasathian military.

They first began to surface after Santa Elva was liberated, being formed all around Aurelia. They began to increase activity as the Aurelian army got closer, including launching a raiding party on the Monte Breeze industrial complex.

After capturing a train, they began to ride towards the factories, who, unknown to them or the Aurelian military, were rigged with high explosives. After cargo planes escaped the factories, the bombs were armed, and only then did the Aurelian military learn of the threat. They began to destroy the factories, to the chagrin of the ALC. Only afterwards did the small rag-tag band of men find out that the factories were highly dangerous.

Afterwards, an ALC uprising began in Griswall during the Aurelian attack on the city. They forced Leasath forces out of the city, and took over the Meson Cannon’s control center. However, Leasath High Command had found out about this, and sent mechanized units to destroy the group. When they found out that an Aurelian Air Force attack was coming, they shut off all power to the Meson Cannon, which, in turn, lowered the city’s defensive wall. The Leasathian Mechanized units, seeing the opportunity, charged the city before being cut down by the Aurelian Air Force’s attack. After the turkey-shoot, the Skylla Unit appeared, and tried to bombard the city into submission using MLRS units. However, Gryphus one shot down the missiles and destroyed the launchers, while the ALC sheltered the frightened civilians. After Griswall was liberated, the ALC was deactivated, as they couldn’t serve any further use.

Hopefully if another resistance group appears in the next game, they won't be as dense as the ALC was.

Ufufu...

But it's always amusing me to see how civilian react on the battlefield Mr. Cobalt.

Like the police squad on the Bana City or the Yukes university student on the nuclear deactivation mission (uh, I forgot which mission is that).

Ace Combat should have more of them in the next series, ne?

Ufufu...

But they're bothering, so that's why they're amusing
Because my lil' brother always swearing all over when he's bothered by civilian forces.
And so it makes things more dramatic when they're in danger, like civilian airplane on Ace Combat 04 and 5, or civilian rescue in Bana city (It's like watching some action movie when I saw my bro played those mission).

I'd hate to think what would happen if most of the civilians in San Salvacion decided to jump in the battle. Oh, man. Total disaster.

Gawd damn civilians, trying to fight symmetrical warfare with a trained national military!
