Ice Bound

Operation Briefing
Terminus Island is home to both vital Aurelian oil feields and also the Gleipnirs' hangar.

Intelligence has informed us that an Aurelian scientist is being held captive wtihing this facility. It is highly likely that he has attained invaluable information on the Gleipnir, and more importantly he is a fellow Aurelian who must be rescued.

The allied submarine Naiad will be used in his rescue. in order to draw the enemy's attention away from the Naiad, the allied fleet will engage in a diversionary operation. Our duty will be to protect the fleet.

The enemy is expected to launch antisubmarine aircraft. Although our main objective is to protect the diversionary fleet, we must also ensure the safety of the Naiad.

If you confront any antisubmarine aircraft, take them out as soon as possible.

Operation Debriefing
The mission was a success. The Naiad has returned to paort and is safe and sound. [sentence missing] Analysing the data will take some time, but it looks like theres a way to partially shut down the Gleipnir's stealth system.

Wow, I didn't know the B-2s in that level can shoot AAMs. The last time I played that level, the B-2s were only attacking the Naiad.

In ace mode, I got surprised when a B-2A fired a AIM-9 at me. + the F-117's are 30+.

Naiad and Thalassa are the main inner moons of Neptune happy.gif. Naiad being a type of water nymph while Thalassa is Greek for "sea". Useless information, but a fun fact methinks.
