- 22nd Air Division, Belkan Air Force

Formation Picture A - Formation Picture B - Schnee Picture A

Ace Style: Soldier

Formation:
4 x F-14D Super Tomcat
1 x EA-6B Prowler

Operation Involvement:
Battle-Axe

Radio Transmissions:
"Ustio mercenaries! This is going to be fun!"
"Target is in firing range. Schnee One to all units. Release your missiles."
"Fox Three! Fox Three!"
"I'm following the Captain's lead."
"My Squadron will bask in the glory if we can get through this alive"
"This is our turf and we'll fly how we please!"
"Amazing... he managed to do all of this with those limited contacts."

Battle Information:
The Schnee Squadron use their aircraft to their fullest in battle. Their tactics rely on confusing and conquering their enemies. Their F-14D Super Tomcats engage at both short and long distances thanks to their XLAA missiles, while the entire unit is supported by an EA-6B Prowler which jams enemy radar.

Background:
The Schnee Squadron was sent to the front lines at the start of The Belkan War. Stationed at Curado Air Base, within the skilled 22nd Air Division, they inflicted considerably damage on southern independent state forces and helped the Belkan Forces push towards Ustio. Mainly in aerial combat. In one account above Monte Rosa, Ustio on March 30th, the Schnee Squadron encountered two squadrons, believed to be from the Ustian 4th Air Division. The two squadrons were promptly destroyed. The Schnee Squadron is accredited with dozens of air-to-air kills such as this around the Belkan borders

Through out the war the Schnee Squadron saw much action; despite being shot down on more than one occasion ". It wasn't until the Schnee Squadron entered the fray in area B7R during "Operation Battle Axe", that they encountered the Ustian 6th Air Division, 66th Air Force Unit 'Galm'. They battle ended with the entire Squadron being shot down in B7R.

Oh, way to change your post, pal! tongue.gif

Well, forgive me for stating an opinion, SC. In retrospect; it was likely the first time facing off against them. Prior to ACZ, I wasn't used to dealing with enemies that used long range missiles (unless you consider the Belkan squadron in 8942 from AC5).

Now Schwarze and Silber? Now those guys are even easier to take down. wink.gif

Because missiles actually took intercept paths instead of lag pursuit paths? wink.gif
