Background:
General Resource is a multinational conglomerate based in Port Edwards, Usea.

After a multitude of wars and smaller feuds, many small military corporations began to merge with each other, and, as the ever increasing corporation gathered smaller corporations, these smaller companies brought their military, economic, political, and judicial influence along with them, allowing the new General Resource to gain contracts in many countries.

After securing many contracts, General Resource began its march toward destiny, at the sake of environmental concerns. This caused many environmental groups, along with anti-globalization and corporation groups to speak out against GR, and, when GR began to fight back, environmental and other terrorist organizations began to bomb General Resource facilities across the planet.

However, these sporadic acts of terror don't stop General Resource from growing and stretching its influence, and GR remained unopposed until the 2030s, when Neucom Incorporated, another corporation formed through mergers, began to receive a mass exodus of General Resource scientists.

Change:
2010 - 2015
General Resource, Limited is established in the late 2010s. Of General Resource's first actions, they began to work along side many smaller companies and beginning to spread their business into other Foreign Countries. One continent where it seems to have appeared in is Anea, during the Esto-Emmerian war.

Marching into the Future:
2016 - 2039
In an amazing feat, just a few years after their formation; General Resource has grown to be one of the largest companies on the planet. As usual, they had continued to create their normal products: Aircraft, Tanks and Warships. But, they had also begun creating other much used items as well. Examples of these being Computer Programs and Aircraft Modification Parts.

General Resource had also begun to expand itself by establishing a General Resource Defense Force, originally as a way to operate their own products on a large scale in order to show their effectiveness. GR had established a School which taught multiple fields of research in the military field. The School was known as the Sandberry GR Defense College and was General Resource's first establishment on the Usean Continent, which was where most of their business in the next decades would eventually bring them.

By the early months of 2020 the world was on the verge of a reform. Many smaller and some large countries were becoming to dependent on Technologies from many Corporations that their own Governments begin to become somewhat useless. In a few cases by late 2020, some countries are actually run by Corporations and not their respected Governments.

Meanwhile, General Resource continues to grow at an extreme rate. In 2023 the ITTC, a large communication system established for world wide communication was bought by General Resource and modified. As plans to add Video Mail and Text Broadcasting Services, a crisis had arisen in 2026 on the Usean Continent. A Group of Terrorists were found operating on the continent and allegedly had scarce Military resources backing them. The General Resource Defense Force was dispatched to the continent and helped the now weakening Usean Government in hopes of operating on the Continent. The Terrorists were suppressed by the GRDF Forces and talks were held about GR's future on the Usean Continent with the Usean Government.

From this conflict the GRDF had gained an Ace Pilot, the first since the war of 2010, 16 years ago. His name was Abyssal Dision, a graduate in Aerospace Engineering from the Sandberry College.

Also, on 2028, General Resource conducted a military top-secret research project, DOE (Darkness of Enigma) program, an advanced project for further military use. This project activity was extended through 2033, and the company froze the whole project.

Though, this was not their only armed action they partook in. Sometime in the 2030s, General Resource, Limited. had engaged the United Air Defense (UAD), which resulted in a short, but fierce conflict. The UAD managed to hold off the General Resource Forces, the Air Strike Force (ASF), and destroy the General Resource Command Center, from which the attacks originated. Though there were reports of General Resource attempting to deploy Nuclear Weapons, no official actions were taken against them for undisclosed reason, and the entire conflict was looked over, by the international community.

General Resource moved it's business to the the Usean Continent and new facilities are built sometime between the 2020s and 2030s. In 2031, the ITTC is finally modified to include Video Mail and Video Phone Services, allowing real time conversations, phone calls and image exchanges on the Electrosphere.

In the next year, GR releases the 'Data Swallow' operation system. This system includes a program known as "Peek-A-BOOM" which allows users to search the Electrosphere by using a simple keyword and it displays relevant information with a color image. The Data Swallow makes the Electrosphere extremely easy to operate.

Also, within this same year a rival of General Resource Business everywhere had risen. The Erusian Air and Space Administration had changed it's name to Neucom Inc. and began buying many Usean Governmental Facilities and conducting ground breaking research in many fields. One highlighted area being Aircraft.

General Resource saw their potential and also began to create new Aircraft Technologies themselves. Unlike Neucom Inc., General Resource concentrated on modifying existing Aircraft rather than creating new or unheard of designs. These new Aircraft Modifications are immediately bought by many small and medium sized countries for their militaries. In a spur of the moment idea, GR had created a new design in it's Ground Vehicle Area. It had created the Antlion Walking Battle Tank, the first and only Walking Tank variant of it's kind. Also, they had began to use the new COFFIN system on most of their new military vehicles as well. The COFFIN system allowed the pilots of the vehicles using the COFFIN to operate them subconsciously, allowing the pilot to push the aircraft to it's specification's performance.

However, in secret, General Resource began on the Night Raven project with the help of new research scientists. In 2036, the Night Raven project was secretly completed, and, it stayed in the depths of General Resource's Research and Development department until the Corporate War.

By the end of 2039 General Resource and it's new Rival Neucom Inc, had become the two largest companies on the face of the planet. The Usean Continent had become the first place in which the two companies had competed against one another. The Usean Government fell apart by the end of this year and like it's neighbors, had fallen to the New Age of Corporate Reform.

Communcation Errors:
2040
In 2040, the first of many mis-communications between General Resource and Neucom had taken place. Afterwards, Neucom had said that it was a General Resource attempt to control Neucom growth and threatened General Resource. This was known as the Phase Park Dispute. The Neo-United Nations stepped in and talks were held. The conflict was settled immediately after this, with each group being assigned areas in which they are allowed to operate in, on the Usean Continent.

Weeks later, Neucom Inc had began to expand it's business into General Resource territory despite their agreements. Now General Resource was asking for the Neo-United Nations (NUN) to step in. As the NUN talked to Neucom Officials General Resource dispatched it's GRDF to patrol around and over the new Neucom Facilities at all times. Tension was building and Neucom soon began to plan to form it's own 'Response Team' to match the GRDF.

The NUN calls in the Universal Peace Enforcement Organization (UPEO) to reinforce all Neo-United Nations sanctions on the continent. However, as they arrive Neucom begins to vector Transport Flights directly over cities in General Resource territory escorted by Neucom's own Fighter Aircraft. Finally shots are fired. A GRDF Unit is launched from Expo City Air Base and they intercept a large Neucom Transport group. The following aerial battle resulted in Expo City, the second largest city on the continent, taking much damage from aircraft which were shot down and crashed into the city or bullets and missiles which had missed their targets.

The Neo-United Nations then put even harsher restrictions on each company because of this and established no fly zones around every major city on the continent. Unfortunately, this did not bring a halt to the fighting.

In early 2040, a Neucom Transport Group had entered Expo City Air Space and did not heed UPEO warnings to turn away. The transport group was subsequently shot down by UPEO fighters.

Corporate War of 2040:
2040
Neucom Officials then indicated the UPEO's actions under a heavy influence of GR decisions, since their Supreme Commander Gilbert Park, was once high up in General Resource. The UPEO ignores these implications and continues to repel any illegal Neucom movements. The GRDF then begins to conduct Joint Maneuvers with UPEO pilots and began to supply the UPEO with aircraft in exchange for UPEO actions in stopping the Neucom aggressions.

However, General Resource had begun to notice a large increase in Neucom's military movements and began to attack Neucom Facilities in pre-emptive strikes. One of their attacks was against the Riass Space Center in the Comona Islands, in an attempt to take it over and stop the launch of a Neucom Space Shuttle. However, it launches and two days later a Neucom Inc. R-352 Sepia Space Fighter is launched to intercept four of General Resource’s new Orbital Satellite Lasers. One had fallen into the waters around Megafloat and was fought over by a Neucom Inc response team and a General Resource Recovery Fleet.

In response to this, General Resource began to engage Neucom's Ultra High Altitude Transport Flights with their RF-12A2 Blackbirds effectively slowing Neucom's movements.

As the UPEO scrambles to suppress attacks on both sides, they cannot effectively stop all of them and tensions between General Resource and Neucom finally boil over. After seeing a Task Force sized gathering of Neucom Naval and Air Forces destroyed by UPEO Forces at Megafloat, Neucom’s' Floating City. General Resource then responded with an Air Strike on Neucom Facilities in Port Edwards, the largest city on the Usean Continent. A large scale Air Battle had broken out. The UPEO eventually arrived there and shot down aircraft from both sides stopping the battle, though Port Edwards had sustained much damage.

As more large battles followed, it was later found that a third Organizaton was behind the War between General Resource and Neucom Inc. They were known as the Ouroboros and had been responsible for giving each side false information which caused them to fight. The Ouroboros were lead by an Electronic Copy of Abyssal Dision’s Personality; in a sense he was living in the Electrosphere, the information Super Highway. Apparently, this was the Ouroboros’ main goal besides over throwing General Resource, Neucom Inc and the UPEO.

Fighting between Neucom Inc and General Resource had stopped as they each supported the UPEO in their hunt of the Ouroboros. The Ouroboros were eventually defeated and the war was over.

Moving Ahead:
2046 -
In early 2046 a last battle was fought against Neucom Inc.'s newst XR-900 Geopelia UCAV Aircraft over Port Edwards. After an extended engagement and after a GRDF pilot counter-hacked an XR-900 and used it to destroy the others; the battle was over. With Neucom’s new Unmanned AI Aircraft destroyed, General Resource and Neucom’s actions were completely at a halt.

Today, General Resource continues to develop technology and military equipment as they always have been, only under the close eye of the Neo-United Nations.
