THE YUKTOBANIAN FREEDOM FIGHTERS
-A Yuktobanian Resistance Group-

An image of Payavlenie Ravine, the headquarters of the Yuktobanian Freedom Fighters

Headquarters:
Payavlenie Ravine, Yuktobania

Background:
The Yuktobanian Freedom Fighters were a group of individuals that stood up against the military regime of Yuktobania during the Circum-Pacific War in 2010. This group was assisted the Demons of Razgriz on one particular occasion. The Yuktobanian Freedom Fighters’ actions have made an impact on the Circum-Pacific War. This group was supported by financially powerful individuals, which allowed them access to certain weapons, including a Submarine.

Payavlenie Ravine:
On December 16, 2010, the Yuktobanian Freedom Fighters intercepted a V1 tactical nuclear weapon which was shipped to Yuktobania. A physics graduate student began to dismantle the weapon. When the Yuktobanians had discovered that their V1 had been stolen, they sent air and naval forces to the Payavlenie Ravine, where the resistance HQ was located. The Demons of Razgriz, sent on reconnaissance in the area, eliminated the Yuktobanian forces and the engineer dismantled the weapon successfully. A Belkan Squadron masked as a Yuktobanian Squadron, "Ofnir" engaged the Razgriz in high-speed combat within the Ravine. These fighters were eventually shot down as well. It was later discovered that Captain Bartlett had been involved with the Yuktobanian Freedom Fighters.

Pobeda Peninsula:
On December 22, 2010, the Yuktobanian Freedom Fighters, led by Captain Bartlett and Major Nastasya, broke the Yuktobanian Prime Minister Seryozha Viktorovich Nikanor out of a Yuktobanian prison in northeastern Yuktobania. During the operation, the Yuktobanian Freedom Fighters started an assault to capture an airport in the area. With assistance in the air from the Razgriz, Bartlett, Nikanor, and Nastasya was able to reach the airport’s hangar and steal a plane. A dogfight ensued between the Razgriz and the Belkan Grabacr Squadron, but the triumph by the Razgriz allowed the airplane carrying the Yuktobanian Prime Minister to escape.

You know, when I was playing Mission 23, and was listening to the radio transmissions, I heard from the Yuke soldiers "Nothing here but a bunch of empty beer cans" and I was like "First we have college students and a nuclear bomb. Now we have college students, a nuclear bomb, and beer. Ok......"

You know, there is an entire article on Payavlenie Ravine:

http://electrosphere.info/index.php?showtopic=1043

And Also Pobeda Peninsula:

Personally I think it would have been better if you referenced those articles and added links instead of trying to re-word them.. Seems like a duplication of effort here.

It isn't very often that we link to other articles within the text of another article - very Wiki-ish.

Well it really is double the effort.. and that's how professionals do it.. They just don't re-word the article, they reference it...
