OVERVIEW:
The R-103 Delphinus III is the final 'expression' of Neucom's Famed R-100 line. Combining the latest aviation technologies, including the COFFIN System, Pulse Laser Weaponry with a Radically Sleek, multi-winged design and astounding thrust-to-weight ratio and Top Speed; the Delphinus III is Neucom's Crown Jewel of its Aviation Designs.

In Mid-2040 the Delphinus III left its test phases, the Production line and entered combat. The R-103 saw combat very quickly and out preformed almost every aircraft on the battlefield at that time. Neucom's Female Ace (Cynthia Fitzgerald) quickly switched from her R-102 to the R-103 in order to maintain her combat edge. The Ouroboros also deployed their own R-103 models for their combat operations as well. Though, their main role was usually to escort the UI-4053, Ouroboros Headquarters.

I have to say that the R-103 could (in real life) give the F-22 and Su-37 a run for thier money when it comes to Pulling Stunts and Speed.

Is the first pic a render? That looks really cool. Wish I had time to do such quality work with Blender.....

Anyway, here's another wallpaper sized image....strangely, that's not what I intended them to be, they were just standard screenshots!

So here's an AutoCAD layout of the R-103, I can do several more, but not right away....this was kind of just a proof of concept. For now I need to be focusing on school, but at least I know I have the means to do this....

Re JianDaoXiao :

To explain it... I know rainbowbear smile.gif

He is the chief editor of China Aviation World mag, now is a freelancer work for 3D modeling in Squid 3D resource network.

the beginning of the post in A9AF is here :

http://bbs.a9vg.com/read.php?tid=766195&fpage=1

there was a project rainbow set months ago, he's trying to re-drawing all planes' side view of the whole A.C. series (also do something for the members) and many people gonna join it, but it was quite challenge to us that have no enough photoshop skill , so rainbow also help us to solve out problems , that's the reason I put him in Render Technical Support ^^

btw: you can also find extra stuff of my release, including the blueprint and rendered body at.....

yep~ the all DEAD LINK pics are host in his server, and now he just recovered it, and restoring data.

but if you see those replies ,you can also find the progress of development.

Those "Strange" schemes posted in AC Discussion are actually... required by our members, bear did as they required, changeing colors, logo, (so you might say "They are not correct in AC game", cuz they go beyond the AC)

but as the time past, bear feels very tired for it, cuz there too many , just too many people require him to paint schemes...... as the Last page , you can also see the List.........they are not painted yet...........

I'll never really understand why in the Japanese AC3, this plane is just so damn perfect.

Yet in American/European/Australian versions, this thing is basically a sleek Foxhound. Just a crapload of speed and crap mobility. =/

Its mobility isn't that bad. But I have to agree its way too fast. But once you can fly it well, it isn't a problem.
