35TH BOMBER SQUADRON
- Bomber Wing, REAF

Aircraft:
B-52H Stratofortress

Background:
When the war began, the 35th Tactical Bomber Squadron was initially unable to be employed effectively due to widespread Estovakian air superiority. After Emmeria began to take the offensive, and began to regain air superiority, the squadron began to go into action. They were sent in to bomb Estovakian forces during the San Loma takeover operation. With some support from the famed Garuda team, they were able to take out the San Loma air defense network. They then joined in on the attack on the city itself, bombing the Estovakian military effectively. With their support, the city fell to Emmerian forces. The unit's next major operation was a bombing mission in the Moloch desert, with the objective of bombing the enemy field command. They were attacked by a large formation of enemy interceptors, but the Garuda team eliminated them, and the squadron commenced with bombing of the enemy field command. With the aid of some precision attacks from Garuda, they completed the mission, and backed Garuda team's support of other Emmerian forces. They didn't initially obey the order to break off engagement, loitering in the airspace for reasons unknown. Their activities after the battle for the Moloch Desert are unknown. Known members of the unit were Wayne O'Neil, call sign Hammerhead, Hound Shark, and Dusky Shark.

Pilot Information:
Squadron Leader Assault Record:
Name: Wayne O'Neil
Rank: Captain
Call Sign: Hammerhead
Nationality: Emmerian
Age: 45
Sex: Male
Status: Living

Until several days before the war, Wayne O'Neil had planned to move away from actual air combat. However, after the Estovakian assault, he was forced to return to the front line. Initially, Estovakian air superiority restricted his field of operations, but he later participated in bombing operations at San Loma and the Moloch Desert field headquarters.

Thanks Cobalt, I thought Hammerhead was just as worthy of a article as several tank units who appear in one mission, lol.

Major revisions to the format and added a link to the AC6 site in the sources section.

If making corrections to the article, DO NOT Change the format.
