Ace Combat 6 Fires of Liberation: Original Sound Track
- Sounds of Liberation -

- Ace Combat 6 Original Soundtrack / Background Music Cover -

Publisher: King Records
Composition: Keiki Kobayashi, Tetsukazu Nakanishi, Hiroshi Okubo, Junichi Nakatsuru, Ryuichi Takada
First Printing: November 21, 2007

Around the time of the production of the Ace Combat X Original Score (which included Tetsukazu Nakanishi as the only Ace Combat soundtrack veteran participating; he supervised the one-time Namco composers), the Ace Combat Namco Sound Team had a difficult assignment up ahead. Complete a massive high-definition soundtrack for Project Aces' next generation flight action game (that eventually totalled up to over 60 tracks and 3 CDs) with a deadline only over a year after Ace Combat Zero's early 2006 release. Compare that to Ace Combat 5's Original Soundtrack, the largest Ace Combat soundtrack to date (which spanned 4 CDs and took 3 years to produce).

Drastic measures were made to meet the deadline. For the first time since Ace Combat 4's production, Tetsukazu Nakanishi composed the bulk of the soundtrack, with Music Director Keiki Kobayashi focusing his work on the main hits of the OST (i.e. "Invasion of Gracemeria," "The Liberation of Gracemeria"). Junichi Nakatsuru and Hiroshi Okubo composed a very small amount, similar to the amount of work they did in the ACZ OST. Ryuchi Takada, known for his work in Namco soundtracks such as the Soul series, took Keiki Kobayashi's place in cut-scene music composition, producing almost all cut-scene music in the OST.

Finally, Keiki Kobayashi travelled to London, England to produce "Chandelier" and "A Brand New Day."
