Heinkel on Turbofans: Yes, nobody will notice tin foil turbofans in planes.

Is it possible that this plane is related to the XFA series? And are the XFA series related to Gründer Industries (falken) and/or General Resource?

It deals with the awarded medals you get. You need to get most of the medals to get it.
Not sure about that.

It's still not clear. Most of us can only speculate, but she shares some similarities and elements with the later XFA-24 Apalis, suggesting a relation.

Unlikely, IMO. The XFA was GR made, but the description for the CFA clearly state that it is of Estovakian origin.

It might have been produced by them, however.

XFA just means "Experimental Fighter Attack", nothing more.

I'm soory, did it not say in ACX that the XFA-27 was GR made?

Yes that is what I thought... maybe the "Grey men", sold the XFA-27 protoype to scarface and the adf-01(ZOE) prototype to the rebels...
About the origin of the CFA... dont forget that Stovies had some belkan influences (remember the ace/flying fortress designer in AC6)
About the medals; Should I get ALL of them?

You know, those super planes in the games? Yeah, most of those are just easter eggs for those who played the earlier games.
The X-02 in AC04? Not canon entirely, just a super plane for those who S ranked every mission on normal. Canonically, there were seven prototypes - six stolen by Free Erusea, one that crashed in Osea. The ADF-01 (in canon) was only in AC2. The ADFX-01/02 were in ACZ; both were canon.

How's about this: If the plane is not used by anyone but the player, it's non-canon.

More or less.
The most canon aircraft in the game are the one's flown by the NPCs, as well as the cover plane.

So what would the "C" be for the CFA? I've been wondering.

More music! Give it a listen! ^_^

It has to be made up... the only designation for "C" I know is "Transport", and that definitely is not a transport. lol
