Mission 14B
Offline

Operation Briefing
The new weapon under development at Cobalt Cave has been relocated to Archelon Fortress. We have learned that it's an HPM (High Performance Microwave weapon) to be mounted to Fenrir.

The weapon's targeting system relies on orbiting satellites, so we should be able to reduce the weapon's accuracy by disabling the satellite ground control center at Cobalt Cave. With the bulk of the enemy forces shifted to Archelon Fortress, the enemy poses little threat at Cobalt Cave.

However, with the threat that Fenrir poses, we must take this opportunity to minimalize it's capabilities. Destroy all of the satellite antennas at Cobalt Cave.

Combat List

Allied
- F-22 (01)
- YF-23 (01)

Air
- Rafale M (05)
- Typhoon (03)
- Su-47 (02)
- F-22 (04)

Ground
- SAM (11)
- AA Gun (02)

Naval
- Aegis (02)
- Destroyer (01)
- Submarine (02)

TGT
- Radar (12)
- Radar Ctrl (01)

Special
- F/B-22 'Orca'
- Cont Ship ' * '

Operation Debriefing
All satellite control centers and antennas have been destroyed. This should weaken Fenrir's microwave weapon. Archelon Fortress is the final obstacle standing between us and total victory, sir.

Oh man, just played Ace Combat X a few times again. The tunnel operation at the end of the mission is completely mind boggling. It took me a few times to get it right. Especially when its crammed a bit. laugh.gif
A quite exciting, yet time paced mission, this one is.

There is a trick to finishing the mission; just use an SOD on the Radar Control and fly over the tunnel.

And I'm not complaining. I'm glad that you tried to help, and you most likely helped some other people with that statement.

Dude, I'm wondering... can you make the Subs like:

1x Submarine "Triton".
1x Submarine "Proteus".

No, but it's mentioned:

(You fire a missile at the sub)

<<Submarine Proteus>> The Submarine Proteus has been sunk!

(You fire another missile at the 2nd sub)

<<Submarine Triton>> Submarine Triton hit, damage critical! It's no good, were taking on water. Withdraw from the area!

No, but when when they are sunk they radio an emergency message.

"The submarine Proteus has been sunk!"
"Submarine Triton, hit! Damage critical!"

However, they're not specific. The first submarine you sunk will always be the Proteus and the second the Triton, regardless of in which order you sink them.
