Sonne Island
-At the Roof of the World-

Geography:
Located in the Northern Sea of Estovakia, Sonne Island was the location for the massive railgun, "Chandelier". Temperatures remain constantly at or below freezing, and animal life is sparse at best. During the Ulysses crisis, Estovakia announced that a meteor interception system was being built for their protection, and construction promptly began. A monstrous hulk of metal began taking shape on the island, dwarfing even the massive glaciers around it. However, asteroid fragments smashed into the earth around the north part of the island. The wildlife did not seem affected by the impacts. Three scars from the impacts still remain on the island. The largest of the three is the Antenora Crater. Antenora is similar in size to Ryker Crater on the Usean Continent.

The Estovakian-Emmerian War:
Following the defeat of the Estovakian Military in Gracemeria, Estovakian Supreme Commander Drovnik flew to the Chandelier and ordered that it fired directly at Gracemeria. Less than 48 hours after the final Estovakian defeat in Gracemeria, multiple cruise missiles appeared over Emmerian air space. Emmerian Air Forces intercepted the cruise missiles, despite the presecence of interceptors and attacker aircraft, before Gracemeria was wiped out. Before a second wave could be launched, the Emmerian Air Force scrambled to destroy the Chandelier. Soon afterwards, a large scale air strike fell upon the Chandelier. With its destruction at the hands of Garuda 1, the EE War finally ended.
