An SSTO craft at Basset Space Center (BSC: 10/3/2010)

Basset Space Center

OVERVIEW:
SSTO is a launching vehicle capable of achieving orbital trajectory without the use of staging, where the entire vehicle reaches orbit. One of the propulsion system used by SSTO to launch orbital spacecraft is the electromagnetic propulsion that fully utilizes mass driver as the resource of electromagnetic propulsion. Mass driver system can be simply a solar-powered linear electric motor, which derives its thrust by accelerating chunks of waste mass (e.g. chopped-up or powdered shuttle propellant tanks) to space at high exhaust velocities. Since it uses electricity, its energy could come directly from the sun via photoelectric conversion. When a current (for example converted from the Sun's energy) is driven around the external coil, it induces a magnetic field that accelerates the bucket. If the bucket contains a payload, it could be accelerated to very high speeds. This concept is far more ambitious than the in-space propellant process scheme.

This is the Upgrade Version of the X-33.
The most particular diference is the cabin.

btw, for those white things like "rockets" in the top, is just the Gyrlaser for the Arkbird, so is not part of the SSTO.

So, I think this title must change.... Maybe SSTO (X-33)
Like the Sea Shadow.... Is the upgrade version too, but the title said Sea Shadow.....

Deleted SSTO ready to launch using 7.5 miles-length Mass Driver (BSC: 10/3/2010) link due to dead link syndrome.
