Avalon Dam
- Belka's secret V2 Facility -

An aerial photo of the Avalon Dam Complex (BAF: 12/31/1995)

Geography:
The geography of the Mund Valley area, near Anfang, supports that glaciation once formed the valley. The wide valley floor and the almost 'U' shape of the valley supports this evidence. The geology of the Mund Valley is a mixture of sedimentary fragments, from the glaciation period, and metamorphic rocks that make up the surrounding mountains. Their is no evidence of tectonic or volcanic activity in the surrounding area.

Background Information:
Mund Valley was chosen as the construction site for one of Belka’s most powerful facilities produced by Project Pendragon. Known as the Avalon, a large Dam was built at the end of Mund Valley. Though it was officially a hydro-electric dam, Avalon was also a top secret Missile Launch Facility. However, when the Dam’s reservoir was filled, any signs of the dam actually being a missile facility are hidden from the naked eye.

Operation Point Blank:
On December 31st, 1995, A World With No Boundaries drained the waters of the reservoir in preparation for the V2 launch that was to take place the next day. This immediately got the attention of the Allied command, who prepared a Strike team. This team would be lead by the now famous Galm Team, to take care of the insurrection once and for all.

A World With No Boundaries deployed an intensive Anti-Aircraft battery in the Mund valley, forcing the strike force to fly through the canyon, and even then, they took heavy casualties, but two planes made it through. It was Galm Team. The missile itself was untouchable, protected by the silo doors, but the barriers protecting the controls had been pulled back when the reservoir was drained. Frantically, AWWNB tried to close the doors, but it was to late and the controls were destroyed.

The V2 launch appeared to be averted, but the launch sequence continued with the reappearance of Larry "Solo-Wing Pixy" Foulke in the ADFX-02 Morgan. Upon shooting down Patrick James, formerly Crow Three, Galm One and Foulke engaged one another above Avalon Dam. Only when Pixy was shot down was the V2 destroyed, once and for all.

In 2005, Avalon appears to be abandoned and the reservoir is filled. On the bank is a memorial to PJ, made up of a fragment of his fuselage.

I've got to admit that a Dam is the last place I'd be looking for an ICBM/V2 launch facility. Especially if the Dam was full of water.

ACS is a anarchy where you can get away with any stupid comment, if you like ACS fine but you're wrong. No matter what logic you come up with. It is only "fun" in an online world were these conditions of anonymity exist and people can escape their lives and play alpha pseudo intellectual.

Our biochem corpus is far advanced as their's. Our Electronic Old Men and their "flexibility" has allowed us to make progress in the mythical city on the hills
