SPECIAL SECRETS OF AC3: ELECTROSPHERE
Export (US) Version

Overview:
This is a list of Unlockable content for AC3, the Export version, and the conditions that have to be met to unlock these features.

Mission Simulator:
To get this bonus content in the game; you must complete the game on Normal difficulty.
The Mission Simulator allows you to play any mission on any difficulty
using any plane you want. But for some of the Stratosphere and Space Missions you will be only allowed to fly the RF-12A2 or the R-352 Sepia.

Music Player:
Beat the game's campaign mode in 'Easy' difficulty. It contains all music tracks found in Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere. To acess it you must go to the 'Options' page and go to Music player. Should be easy, no?

Japanese Introduction:
To unlock this special intro, you must complete the game on Hard difficulty. To view it; at the "Press Start" screen, press Start while holding down the L1 and R1 buttons.

The 36th Mission:
Complete the game on Easy difficulty or up; with all As and Bs ranking. By the way, you unlock this in Campaign mode, not the Mission Simulator!

The X-49 Night Raven:
To get this wicked cool superplane that Rena uses in the campaign; you must first complete all Missions wih an 'A' rank in the Mission Simulator in Normal diffuculty.

Aircraft Stats:
Type: Excellent Multi-Purpose
Width: 30.11 m
Length: 17.20 m
Height: 3.82 m
Total mass: 39940 kg
Max speed: 4693 km/h
Damage Tolerance: Heavy
Choice of Guns: Laser Cannon
Choice of Missiles: Short Range Missile, Ground Missiles, M.I.R.V.

The XR-900 Geopelia:
Ah, the X-49 Night Raven's twin. This plane is awesome I tell you. To get it you must first unlock the 36th Mission of the game; and once gaining control of one of the Geopelias; you have beat it within 5 minutes on Normal and Hard difficulty. On Easy difficulty; it will be 3 minutes.

Aircraft Stats:

Type: Excellent Multi-Purpose
Width: 29.95 m
Length: 17.18 m
Height: 3.72 m
Total mass: 30218 kg
Max speed: 4634 km/h
Damage Tolerance: Heavy
Choice of Guns: Laser Cannon
Choice of Missiles: Short Range Missile, Ground Missile, M.I.R.V.

The UI-4045 Aurora
This plane, may not stack up to the X-49, and XR-900 in weapons.; but for what it lacks in special weaponry , makes up for its abilities in combat. It is a hard-hitting and fast aircraft. It also is much harder to get than the other 2 superplanes. To get it you must have to beat Easy, Normal, and Hard, difficulties with all missions with an 'A' rank.

Aircraft Stats:

Type: Excellent Multi-Purpose
Width: 17.14 m
Length: 30.36 m
Height: 6.25 m
Total mass: 60100 kg
Max speed: 4264 km/h
Damage Tolerance: Heavy
Choice of Guns: Vulcan, Heavy Machine Gun, Cannon
Choice of Missiles: Short Range Missile, Ground Missile, M.I.R.V.

Orbital Satellite Laser (O.S.L):
To get this weapon; you must get all 'A' ranks on missions: 1 through 36 on Hard difficulty. This weapon is probably the most overpowered weapon; in the entire Ace Combat series. You,simply lock on to a target and fire to destroy it instantly. Its only disadvantage is its slow firing rate, but its positives far outweigh it. Its fire rate is 1, and cannot be used in missions: 16, 18, 31, 32, and 33.

Whoa, just noticed the "Hang glider shaped" planes are some of the heaviest in the game. You'd think they were lighter than a Remora with their small, incredibly thin basic frame. blink.gif Only reason for that weight is surely the armour.

Lets not forget the internally mounted Laser Cannon; and the 6 aeon-powered engines. wink.gif

Oh yeah, the numerous engines too. I doubt that having a laser would make it heavy though. In fact, that might make it light because it doesn't use solid ammo and doesn't carry it in stocks like it would bullets or missiles.
