@dragonclass, got them from one of the ac3 promo movies that Night Raven uploaded in the download section.

Tazuren, they both look the same when viewed from the top lol. Besides the X-49 was in existence way earlier than the xr-900 so it would seem to make sense that the logo is based of the x-49.

No, definitions are very different: ions are real, AEons seem to more mythical and may not be proven.

...Aeon Generators. I'm trying to figure out how they'd be able to effect aircraft performance.

Getting the Aeons into the air would be very easy, considering that they are a product of these air purifiers. ...actually, now that I think about it. All of Port Edwards would have extremely clean air, wouldn't it? There are Aeon Generators all over the place there. That would also explain why the X-49 ran into the Geofront. Geofront would have to have an air purification system there; Aeon Generators would be perfect.

From what I can tell, the aeons help power efficiency. Look at the Raven's laser or EM cloaking field when around the generators.

There was talk (and recorded Doppler radar data) of a Russian demonstrater aircraft that did use a form of plasma-assisted RAMjet propulsion system.

It used a kind of looped EM field that stripped electrons from molecules in the air that it collected, and used this new electrical field to actually extend the boundary layer of the air in front of the aircraft. Secondly, the skin of the aircraft used liquid Helium as a cooling medium.

Several passes were made, and the first was clocked at - and my jaw hit the floor when I heard this - at Mach 8. The final pass? Mach 12.
" When our allies look up at the shattered skies, surrounded and beaten, they will shout, 'Where are you?' We will answer. 'Upon my wings of steel where you, my friend, can always call on me; and where you, my adversary, cannot reach me.' Under our wing, our enemies shall be swept away as dust and ambers. " - Arthur "Spades" Kincaide.

If these existed in real life, I think the problem of global warming would be solved.
