Mission Overview:
Operation Gelnikos is one or three Operations in Offensive Campaign #4101. This is the first phase with regarding the attack and occupation of the Furturo Canal. In this mission, there are two different methods and you need to do both in order to obtain the Ememy Aces for you assault records. The information covered is for the Ace Level allowyou you to obtain All available aces.

Method #1:
For this method you will start by flying north toward the southern entrance of the Futuro Canal. The first enemies you encounter are two (2) F-20A 'Tigersharks'. Engage and destroy these two aircraft. Continue toward the north until you see the anmed Ace 'Hundert' in an X-29A. You can engage him or put Pixy on Free-Air and he will engage and destroy the Belkan Ace.

Once the Ace is downed, you go in and destroy the four (4) jammers on the Western side of the canal. Drop two UGBLs in each general location, this will destroy the jamers and clear your radar. When the radar clears, you will have a green target approach from the north, this will be the Ace 'Elch' in an F-15C. Destroy him then turn to the targets on the western side. You can destroy the oil tanks with three (3) well placed UGBLs, directly in the center of them. You can also destroy the tanks and APCs that are mixed up within the oil tanks.

Before going to the eastern side of the canal you need to engage three (3) J-35J Drakens that approach from the northeast. Destroy them and then proceed to destroy the targets on the Eastern side. When All Red ground targets have been destroyed, two (2) F-20A and two (2) J-35Js appear agagin from the northeast. If you want, complete the destruction of the remaining ground targets, depending on the path you are trying to obtain, then enegage and destroy the remaining fighters.

Method #2:
In this method, you will start off the same as Method #1 unitl you reach the part regarding the destruction of the Jammers. In this method you don't destroy the Jammers until you nearly have completed the mission. Once the F-20A's and 'Hundert' have been shot down, proceed with destroying all ground targets, but be careful not to hit the jammers. You can destroy the Oil tanks close to the jammers by using the UGBLs and drop them slightly to the south of the tanks, this will destroy the oil tanks without hitting the jammers.

Once the targets, minus the jammers are destroyed on the western side of the canal, the three (3) Drakens will appear. Destroy them as before, then destroy all the targets on the Eastern side as before. When the last group of Drakens and Tigersharks appear, destroy on of them and then two additional aircraft appear, this will be Schakal 1 & 2 in Mirage 2000Ds. When they appear, take your remaining UGBLs (You should have at least 4 remaining) and destroy the Jammers. This will give you a clear radar picture where you can first engage Schakal Flight, then the rest of the fighters to complete the mission.
