Mission Overview:
Operation Round Hammer is one or three Operations in Offensive Campaign #4101. This is the second phase with regarding the attack and occupation of the Furturo Canal. In this mission, there are two different methods and you need to do both in order to obtain the Ememy Aces for you assault records. The information covered is for the Ace Level allowyou you to obtain All available aces.

Method #1:
In this Mission you are to destroy all Ground, Air and Naval targets at the Northern entrance of the Futuro Canal. In thie first Method, you will start yhe mission flying north along the canal toward the targets at the north end. Srat on the Western side of the canal, here you will engage four (4) Frigates that are docked in the post, and also a Submarine. When they are destroyed, you can continue to engage all the other ground targets to include AA Guns, SAMs, Tanks, Oil Tanks, and Barracks.

When you are finished, fly to the Eastern side and destroy all ground targets here. Once you complete the destruction of all RED ground targets, the Belkan Ace 'Bachstelze' will appear in an F/A-18C. Engage this plane before you continue on with the naval targets. After shooting down the F/A-18C, proceed to destroy the three Green Ships on the Westerns side, which include one (1) Frigate and two (2) Destroyers.

After they are destroyed, go out and located the destroyer to the west and engage it first, using your standard Missiles, it will turn neutral, then locate the two (2) Cruisers and engage them with your LASMs. Thiswill know out their SAM and AA Guns. Then engage the Aegis ship with another LASM. While this is happening, two(2) Drakens will appear from the north, you can either engage them yourself, or have Pixy take them out. After the First Drakens are deatroyed, the next Belkan Ace 'Moewe' will appear in a F-35C. Engage him then locate the destroyer closest to the Cruiser to the East. Fire your LASM's at this ship and it will turn neutral, you can chose to destroy the target or let it remain neutral. At this time, two (2) more Drakens should appear from the north, destroy them, once they are down, then continue one and destroy the remaining ships to end the mission.


Method #2:
This Method starts out just like method #1, but instead of destroying all the ground targets on the Western side of the canal, leave two (2) Red targets for later, which I will explain further. Instead of engaging the targets on the eastern side, continue north to engage the naval force. Attack the Ships and destroy them all, you will also encounter the Drakens and the Belkan Ace 'Moewe' just like before, but once the shipsare destroyed, you will have two (2) F-5E Tiger IIs come from the North. This will be the Belkan Aces 'Gabel 1 & 2". Engage them then continue over to the Eastern side of the canal and destroy all remaining targets there. When you are finished you should have 2 remaining Drakens coming from the north and 2 remaining ground targets on the Western side. Proceed north and engage the Drakens, when they are shot down, turn south and attack the remaining 2 ground targets to complete the mission.
