Waldreich Mountains

An aerial photo a day before the seven nuclear explosions (BAF: 06/06/1995)

Geography:
The Mountain Range is a standard size as far as mountain ranges are concerned. The Waldreich Mountains have acted as a gate between Belka and it's neighboring countries. The Waldreichs are set on the border between North Belka and South Belka/North Osea; because of this they are known as the 'Northern Gate'. Just behind the Waldreich Mountains is the Belkan Industrial City of Sudentor.

Seven nuclear explosions (BAF: 06/07/1995)

Background:
The Waldreich Mountains bore the brunt of the seven nuclear explosions on June 6th, 1995. In and near the mountains, the seven craters from the nuclear explosions have yet to disappear. After the Belkan War, the surrounding area was seemingly abandoned and remained so decades afterwards.

After the war, the Waldreich Mountains had become the prime site for the Grunder Industries experimental weapons facility, in South Belka/North Osea. They Grey Men, using this 'disguise', began to build an under ground passage. This passage connected South Belka to the Principality of Belka and was to be used to reunite the two Belkas. This facility also acted as the headquarter for all Belkan operations within the Yuktobanian and Osean Militaries to start and continue the Circum-Pacific.

The Circum-Pacific War (Op.Acradia):
The plan to reunite the Belkas and the Belkan involvement in the war, was uncovered and the facility was attacked. This attack was carried out by combined forces from Yuktobania and Osea. Grunder Industries, supported by warmongers from Osea and Yuktobania, attempted to use the SOLG to fire from space and supress any enemy forces coming near them. While the united Osean-Yuktobanian Forces became pinned down in the mountains, the facility was infiltrated by the "Ghosts of the Demons of Razgriz". The SOLG control system, along with the facility was destroyed from within.

Maybe we're also need to add an aerial photo of this place after the seven nuclear explosions... (well... if there's any... I can't found one so far though...)

What would Stier and Sudentor look like in the summer? (The maps depicting the craters were all during winter.)

Play ACZ to find out how Steir castle looks, there's no summer view for Sudentor.
