Farbanti
- Erusea's Capital City -

An aerial photo of Crater Ryker and Farbanti (FEAF: 9/19/2005)

Geography:
The geography of the city of Farbanti is quite different before the 1994XF04 planet-fall. Farbanti can be split into three or four areas. The Municipal Area, The Northern Suburbs, The Capital and the Main Water Way, which includes Johnson Memorial bridge and Silver Bridge. The majority of the city lies on flat coastal plain and in some areas of the city, the Eruseans 'landfilled' several areas to the south-west. Farbanti was one of the few cities on the Usean Continent which suffered a direct hit from a large Ulysses Asteroid Fragment. Despite the damage, the Erusians did not evacuate and abandon the city. This municipal area is highly unstable and sank after the Ulysses impacts. To the far north and north-east of Farbanti are the foothills of the Lambert Mountain Range.

Usean Continental War:
Farbanti not only acts as Erusea's Capital City, but also as the location of the Central Command Center for all Erusian Military Forces. It is from Farbanti that all decisions were made by Erusea's Top Officials, during the Usean Continental war in 2004-2005. After years of successful operations, Farbanti then encountered a period of failures, during the ISAF counter-attack. Though Farbanti's decisions were correct during pivitol battles, their forces were simply being out done by the ISAF. Eventually, Erusea lost Stonehenge and the ISAF Forces broke through the last Erusian Defense Line at the Whiskey Corridor; leaving Farbanti open to attack.

Usean Continental War (Op.Autumn Thunder):
The ISAF launched operation: Autumn Thunder and began to siege Farbanti on September 19th, 2005. Before the attack, all Erusian Civilians in the city were moved into Bomb shelters by the Erusian Military. An ISAF Fleet surrounded Farbanti and shelled the city as an Amphibious Force moved past the Municipal Area and near land fill. The ISAF Main Tank force came in from the West, attacking Silver Bridge. The ISAF Air Force struck vital targets within the city. As Erusian defenses consisted of the final remnants of their ground and air forces. Even sea forces were defending the city with a Destroyer near Johnson Memorial Bridge and a 'beached' Battleship near Silver Bridge. At one point in time many Submarines in the sunken Municipal area began to leave Farbanti in hopes of running the ISAF blockade and escaping.

Farbanti fell into the ISAF's hands, after a final stand by the 156th TFW. Mobius 1 single handedly defeated the five Aquila members and secured the air space over Farbanti. With many of the Military Leaders dead, along with the Erusean Supreme Commander, Erusea surrendered to the ISAF that same day. The war was officially over, though a final battle was to be held at the near by Twinkle Islands.

Wouldn't that be fan art... which isn't exactly the best thing for a site trying to get as much accurate information as possible?

The Supreme Comander wasn't killed, he was captured by ISAF after the Yellows were killed.

@ JDX: Nope, the supreme commander's Osprey was left behind on the ground and him with it.

Minor edits made.

@ Apollo: I believe it was "We found the remains of an Erusian soldier with really big rank insignias" "Relay that on to HQ will ya?" or something like that. Thing is, he was definitely dead.

Also in the italian translation they mention that a corpse of a high-ranked official was found, so you're right...
