On November 11th, 2010 the unthinkable happened in the middle of the Osean Continent. In the midst of the Circum-Pacific War, the rage between Yuktobania and Osea boiled over and resulted in a direct attack on Osean Civilians by Yuktobanian Special Forces. This attack was not at one location deep within Osea, but two; Bana City and Apito International Air Port.
Apito International Air Port, near Oured, Osea, was in the middle of it’s evening operations when it had intercepted multiple unknown Aircraft on radar. Capital Air Command in Oured dispatched a fighter squadron to engage these fighters, when they were confirmed to be multiple Yuktobanian Aircraft. However, as they engaged them Yuktobanian Ground Forces deployed from, what was thought to be, Osean Transports and began to shell the entire Air Port. Yuktobanian Special Forces also were on the scene and managed to infiltrate Apito and began to fire upon the Air Port security and Civilians in the Flight Terminals. The following are actual transmissions from Apito Air Port Control Tower, Security Units, Air Liners in holding pattern and Capital Air Command:

Control Tower: All approaching flights, change course immediately!

This Yuktobanian dual-strike operation ended in failure, but did increase the hatred between each nation, which pushed the war. From this point on the Osean Leadership wanted to capture the Capital City of Yuktobania and end the war once and for all.
