As I mentioned in the tentative Su-27SM article, both terms are interchangeable. I suppose I will have to call it Su-35(S), to differentiate it from the Su-35(A) that we see each game before this. Unless it specifically calls it the Su-35S or Su-35BM in game, but my recollection thus far is that it simply designates it Su-35 (where I would add "(S)" to differentiate it in our archives).
