Hi-TASM
-Submarine Launched Thermobaric Missile -

Overview:
The Hi-TASM is a Submarine Launched Themobaric Missile that shares similarities to the Shock Wave Ballistic Missile seen in Ace Combat X. After being launched the Hi-TASM flies to a high altitude, returns to lower altitudes and detonates at 3200 feet in the air, destroying anything below it, within its area of effect, with a large Thermobaric Warhead. Though points of the SWBM's deployment are similar the Hi-TASM is a much more conventional means of attacking large areas.

Combat Deployment:
The Hi-TASM is first encountered in ACX2 during missions in the Croatian Adriatic Sea. During an assault of a Valahia controlled port that was the source of various anti-shipping operations in the area and after the first encounter with the Varcolac squadron, Valahia Submarine surfaced far from the Port and fired multiple Hi-TASM warheads against Antares Squadron.

Later, the Hi-TASM was used during the peak of the Golden Axe Plan to halt Martinez Security ground forces in Nevada. The Spiridus II which was passing over Lake Tahoe, attempted to halt the Martinez forces from taking the base that acted as the headquarters for the Golden Axe Army attempted to fire multiple Hi-TASMs from beyond visual range. Antares squadron's initial attacks were unable harm the Hi-TASM launchers as they were protected by READS; a system that used electromagnetic energy to deflect many incoming attacks. By disabling the fire control unit before, during or after the launch of a Hi-TASM from the Spiridus II, windows of opportunity to fire high powered, land based missiles at the Spiridus II were utilized by the Martinez ground forces. Every strike from a land-based missile would knock out the READS system temporarily and leave the Hi-TASM launchers defenseless. The Hi-TASM was the first of many weapons system to be knocked out of action by the Antares squadron in that battle.

Not to mention it was also employed and protected by READS (acronym unknown) on Spiridus II over Lake Tahoe.

Somewhat, It's effect at lower altitude then schinfaxi and hrimfaxi, they effected at 10,000 feet and below. but from what i read its more powerful then the yukes burst missiles. so they swapped range for power.

This may not be true, but I thought of an acronym for READS:
Radiation Emitting Active Defense System.
I have no idea how I would confirm this, but it's a good idea of what it means.

Perhaps Hi-TASM stands for High Temperature ASM, given the wepon's nature?

It's pretty simple: a FAEB's detonation temperature is of about 3000°C. The weapon is both employed by the Raging Sea submarine and the Spiridus II, however it is likely that it was mainly designed to be aircraft-operated.
