Overview:
An extremely agile aircraft piloted by the Varcolac Squadron during the battle of San Fransisco and developed to fit in with the Golden Axe Plan, the GAF-1 Varcolac seems to be a hybrid resemblance to the XFA-24 Apalis and the MiG-31 Firefox. All four Varcolacs are customized to their pilot's liking and piloting style, with Oruma, Kiriakov and Garviria's having a custom OS and avionics, while Sulejmani's airframe has equipped a rear mounted machine gun to shoot down pursuing enemy missiles.

Mixing the MiG-31 Firefox and the XFA-24 Apalis gets you this... thing.

Added in the other two SP weapons.

I guess I'll leave it to someone who actually has the game for the overview or any other corrections =x

I KNEW there was a new superplane in ACJA. So, no Harrier to play with.

The "awesome" thing about this aircraft is its maneuverability...

It's defy physics...

Once I obtain it (which will be after I actually figure out how to obtain it), I'll upload hangar pics of the different schemes.

My opinion is that they made a tribute to the Firefox. It's a classic of aviation literature, afterall, and one that hadn't yet be tributed in any of their original planes.

This fighter is in the vein of all the classic super fighters that were being developed in the late 50's and early 60's when it was all about speed and altitude ceiling.

I was about to say, it has that look of the F-107 in a way, with a little bit of the F-108/T-4 as well. I think you hit that reference spot on, ADV.
