But the BRDM-2 is actually a quite old vehicle in its class, and the Russians must have got a replacement of it, so it's more benefical to use a newer vehicle than upgrading an aging vehicle

Honestly, I don't even know why I'm replying to this, saying "I hate it" isn't good enough, you have to prove that it sucks, not just say it, you need something to back that claim up besides your own opinions, or else what you said above is just pointless and stupid, this is going to turn into that F-22 vs F-16 argument all over again, be glad that this isn't ACS and everybody is nice and civil and the Internet rules doesn't apply here, or else you'd be raging and saying that this place sucks too, like I said before, not trying to pick a fight with you, just saying that you just need some proof instead of personal opinions to back up claims.

Sorry for getting little off-topic. But how about the 30mm cannon installed on the BMP-2 and BMP-3? If the 14.5mm can rip apart an AH-64, I'd like to see what's the effect of the 30mm cannon on an Apache.

And I agree with Heinkel. Kord is just a .50 cal (12.7x108mm) HMG when a KPV is a 14.5x114mm HMG. Changing KPV into Kord will reduce its firepower in a considerable manner IMO
