Yes, that is legit. It was uploaded by Assault Horizon's director himself. Download it to check it out, etc.

I find it strange that Anea seems... incomplete.

Are they trying to say that "AC6 was terrible, let's pretend that never happened"

This particular map was made before AC6 came out, IIRC there was a low res version available for viewing.

But yeah, they should have at least revised it.

The details seem stuck at AC5 indeed..

Funny to see Expo City however, is the city already exist in AC4-5 timeline??

Map's... pre-AC6 (canon wise; made off of the assumption that Anea was going to be one country, etc.), circa-2020 (made for ACX), so yeah, Expo City was probably in Usea by that time.

Lol, there's a city called "ciudad". Guess which part of the map the designers really didn't gave a damn about.

Yeah, its from AC5 and ACX time era. I noticed Gründer layout of the GPS orbit paths.

You are right, alot of things are misslabeled and named, Lake Dama and Lake Lilybar are at the wrong locations. I can understand why they never released this high res map until now. Sounds like they really don't give a damn. Even Axel bay is misslabeled as alex strands.

Image for comparison. Grunder BCS has different location labels.

Kono made it himself, so there's a lot of errors from phonetically translating stuff etc. Expo City is there because the map isn't set in any particular year, but note there's the old name "Newark" next to it. Also Mante is in Emmeria, it just never got mentioned in AC6.

Sandbury Desert is misspelled as "Sandburg" plus ravine spelled out as rAvene (very grammar nazi). Praises for the effort though...

P.S.: after posting this comment (way after!) I've noticed by chance one thing: the SOTOA labeled landmass features a basin on the nothern coastline, well that reminds me of the Mediterranenan Sea, in fact the continent engulfing the basin is an alternatively shaped version of Europe with the Scandinavian peninsula as well...
