the 747-200 is the base of air force one I bet they got the idea for a VIP plane from that. though the Japanese Air force one is a 747-400

Only oil-rich Arabian kings can afford such extravagance of -400s... or the -8s..
Or some governments (Korea, Japan, or India if memory served)
Though AFAIK Wells Fargo has a few -400s..

The flag carrier in my country (Garuda Indonesia) also has 3 B747-400, although actually they used to have a lot more of them (Incl. A dozen of B747-200)

My flagship carrier operates 10 B747-400's, how about that lol. And yes ribbon rena, Korea and India use em as VIP transports.
