Nonsense! All this talk about fighter jets being anachronistic in certain time periods, how about F6F-5 and A6M Type Zero in 1995!

you lose the point.... F-35, Berkut and Pak-FA don´t exist yet in 1995, but Zeros and Hellcats already exist...

Its Strangereal. We don't know what their tech level is compared to ours. That's why when I was creating those old aircraft development fan fics I adjusted service dates accordingly, making the F-4A enter service in 1949 versus the late 1950's.

Tbh I don't think there is much reasoning behind the tech level of the aircrafts - it's just to
a ) give the fighter jets to the player a casual aircraft lover wants (f.e. no AC without F-22)
b ) save production cost of the game (hell they even re-use paintschemes to save time. They would never put that much effort or logic into changing entire models because the year is a bit off)

Short said: They propably just don't care.

I guess the only exceptions are special super planes which do respect their timeline and origin (Falken > OADF, X-02 > Erusea, Morgan > Belka etc.)
