Still seems like they got lost during some troubles we had in the past.

Well, it has worked for us so far... I really think that if anything, the human element of a group of widely different mods and administrators closely linked to the community keeping order is far more effective than a multi-megabyte, hole-ridden legislature

Though I'm not sure where the rules section went, I'm really not to keen to re-implement it myself.

Heinkel's got the right idea. Besides, we're really a small group. When you first register a ruleset pops up that you have to agree to before you continue, and it covers all the basics you need to work on the Electrosphere. By not having set rules it lets us get away with a lot more too; I have no real problem with people making challenges so long as they're rational. It also allows people a lot more lenience for otherwise brain-dead posts and helps us forgive and forget them quicker than if we had to lay down the law everytime. It keeps the atmosphere less authoritarian and more casual.

Besides, the basic rules are common sense. If you can't use common sense, even after all the leniency we grant, then you've seen that we have no problem booting people out.

Common sense is the best rule book.

ok I just wanted to see if some things I was considering might cross the line (I don't feel that they would but some sites have strict rules) and wanted to be sure

Why don't you just do it, and we'll see later.

As for the rules.. I thought words of His Holiness Dear Leader Ribbon-Blue is the only rule around here? :P
