Hi guys!
So I'm having trouble with finishing the R-101 exterior model because of the lack of info on the main landing gear. I asked Kazutoki Kono if Namdai was available to share some concept drawings for the R-101. Still no response. So I turned to ES, because you guys are bosses in getting AC info. The only pic I have that shows the landing gear of the R-101 is that picture with the Neucom fuel truck. But the main LG is too faded for me to make up the individual pieces. Do you think you can help me in finding some pics?
Thanks!
BTW here's a pic of the progress on the R-101:

Of course, when the parts are all textured it will look much better with all the faux shadows, oil and dirt.

WOW! Pretty awesome! That's it! Thanks!
Do you know if the site has the same type of pics of the other R series?

LOL, just got a message back from Kono. He say the team doesn't know where the AC3 data is. He says they're messy! Ahahah

Yeah, I've been looking at the intro movies since I started the R-101. They were only good for the fuselage. The smaller details are unnoticeable...

His response might explain a decisive lack of an AC3 re-release in the states.

What do you mean with that? Was there a chance that AC3 was to be released once again?

Yeah, that one is good for the R-103. But the landing gear differs from plane to plane. The R-101's main gear is canted and the R-103's is straight vertical.

Yeah, but I didn't start the R-103 yet, lol. I only have the R-101 and the R-102 started.

I'm surprised that they actually replied, how did you contacted them? by BookFace and Twitter? or a private email?

Hmm... I didn't expect them to be that open on sharing stuff.... Mind asking him about the Stonehenge papercraft? unless its part of the Artbook.
Would be awesome if he releases it via download.

Well I got the EU limited for only 49bucks with the soundtrack CD and a "signed" notebook (obviously not a laptop lol) and I think thats pretty awesome for a first week release game while BF3 is about 59-69bucks here for a standard edition!

Its $59.99 plus tax here. and it only comes with a crappy F-4 Phantom for the so called Limited Edition in the US-NTSC version. Price is no different than BF3 since its the same.

So it's still cheaper over there. 49.00€ are 67.89$
It's kind of an rip-off to call it limited when you actually just get an extra DLC which you can't really see as something limited imo. It just doesn't show off as a limited edition. EU version at least has a bigger box with all the stuff inside and the double disc case and of course the F-4 too. That fighter just sucks lol but it's nice to look at

Edit: btw lets try to not spam anymore in xpand's topic lol
