Interesting you brought this to the forefront, because I just noticed something.

The JAS 39C in Ace Combat 5 and Zero has an IRST mounted on the nose. The real world one does not have one on any variant I've seen.

Any explainations about this?

Fair question. I never bought the JAS 39 in ACX, so I'm not sure. It wouldn't surprise me if it was the same, though. Generally, by the time Ace Combat Zero rolled around the aircraft models seemed pretty much finalized. (That is, the Su-47's rear was modeled after the real world version and the F-15S/MTD was a two-seater.)

The F-15S/MTD has always been a one seater. The F-15ACTIVE is the two seater.

That IRST thing, it's present on ACX as well btw. Off topic: TND ADV, your sigs are dead.

I have noticed something ing ACZ, I didn't check whether it was the case in AC5 as well:

When using ailerons, the ailerons are pitching the wrong way. The right one points up, and the right wing goes up, which is not the case IRL.

It is the case in AC5 as well:

Like how they got some of the turkey feather exhausts wrong, along with the variable intakes. (F-15 being the major example)
