This might be the wrong place to ask this, but I'm desperate...

So, first of all, I got my X360 up and running, and now, I'm interested in DLC's, but the problem is: there ain't no Microsoft Points on sale here, in short: no DLC for me.

But the catch is, the X360 that I got is the American version, so I thought that Microsoft Points bought from the U.S. might be compatible with my Xbox, but of course, I won't take the risk of buying some unless someone confirms that this actually works.

PS: I got the idea of the Microsoft Points being incompatible from some forum, it said that Microsoft Points from Europe "don't work" in the U.S. (only makes sense that U.S. Microsoft Points probably don't work in the Phils.)

I don't know why they are incompatible, maybe it's the internet connection, or the inner workings of the different Xbox versions, so does anyone know about this? Anyone having similar problems? Please help.

im assuming you didint know about the bing rewards, thats where i got my MP for my DLC. but the reward system is being shut down on the 31st of December.

not enough time to get the points youll need.

look around the web, sometimes they will have reward systems for completing quizzes and surveys. you can get MP from there.

Depending on where the account is located is what region of codes you can use, I.E a PAL code works with a PAL account, I don't think it matters what console, just what location the Xbox account is.

choose dlc you want, there should be an option of purchase points after you choose to buy something from XBL market place.
