Overview:
A GRDF strategic bomber which is a modernized incarnation of the B-1B. The Lancer appears virtually unchanged at first glance but has actually undergone extensive upgrade and modernization to keep up with 2040-era standards. Its upgrades include the COFFIN System and new flight and combat avionics. The B-1C bomber is also one of the last aircraft to use the "swing wing" system, associated frequently with the F-14 Tomcat and Tornado families.

This is actually quite interesting. Obviously, this is the only Strategic Bomber we know of within this time frame (2045) of Ace Combat. Though this is just a personal though, I think this really reflects on whats going on with RL aircraft. Today, fighters can do multiple jobs a Strategic Bomber would've been assigned to do in WWII. So, with the huge technological leaps that have occured in the AC World (2015 - 2045), Stategic Bombers are probably:

[B]. Operated in small numbers

The Bomber force of today has become similar to the fighter force.. That are Multirole operations. The Strategic force of yesterdayis also the tactical force of today.... And beyond.
