206TH STRIKE FIGHTER SQUADRON "Shorebirds"
AC5 - Carrier Air Wing 7, ONAF

- VFA-206 Patch

Background:
VFA-206, also known as the Shorebirds, were an air unit of the Osean Maritime Defense Force stationed on the OFS Kestrel. Led by Marcus “Swordsman” Snow, they were sent on many missions in the defense of the OFS Kestrel during the Circum-Pacific War, and they served with dignity and honor until all, except for their commander, were shot down and killed. After the disappearance of the 108th Tactical Fighter Squadron “Wardog”, VFA-206 was dissolved, merged into the 108th, and became the Razgriz Air Command Squadron. It is unknown if after the war this squadron was reformed.

List of Aircrafts:

The Kestrel was Osea's last Carrier for a while there, so it was on the frontlines most of the time. If I remember what captain Anderson said correctly, VFA-206 was completely wiped out with the exception of Snow.

That's True. Marcus Snow was the only remaining member of the Squadron when they pulled the Wardog Squadron out of the water after the Final Option mission.

Re-wrote the history section:

Their unit insignia consisted of a bird, which looks like a penguin, with two black stars, two white stars, and one red.

Added the patch, revised the format, and added a link to the AC5 stes in the source section.

If making corrections to the article, DO NOT Change the format.

I'm playing AC5 again since years ago, in order to add the list of allies or enemies in each mission, in mission information of AC5. So, for the moment, the Shorebird use F-5 and F-14.
I still playing and lack me more areas, but i'll add this two craft for the moment wink.gif

Sure, Just fly the mission "Frontline". You can use whatever craft, but in front off you, there are 3 F-5E Tigger (tongue.gif) like allies. They are not wardogs wink.gif

OK, the the JDX, you are getting the mission Shorebirds, mission #1 confused with the Unit Shorebirds. In the MISSION #1: Shorebirds, the nuggests fly F-5E's, but the Unit "Shorebirds" don't appear until Marcus "Snowman" Snow appears in Mission #3: Narrow Margin flying an F-14A.....

VFA-206 "Shorebirds" and Mission #1: Shorebirds are different.

Maybe he meant the F-5E that you see while defending Port Hewlett, the one whose pilot asks Thunderhead for a target, but it's an air force unit...
