REPUBLIC OF EMMERIA AIR FORCE

- Republic of Emmeria Air Force Roundel
Hi-Res Roundel

Background:
The Republic of Emmeria Air Force saw action in 2015 when the Estovakians invaded Gracemeria. Although the Emmerian Air Force initially had the upper hand over the Estovakians, the Emmerian defenders were overwhelmed by the appearance of the Nimbus Missiles and the elite Strigon Squadron, which forced the military to order an evacuation.

The REAF covered the Emmerian Ground Forces retreat to Khesed Island, where they successfully defended the last bastion of Emmerian defense at Vitoze, and helped support the liberation of the rest of the island. The REAF was instrumental in the operations to land on continental Anea, as well as the subsequent liberation of Western Emmeria.

Once the threat of the Aigaion Flying Command Platform was realized by the Emmerian Joint Chiefs of Staff, an air wing was tasked with eliminating it, which was accomplished by Garuda 1 of the Garuda Team. With the Aigaion taken care of, the Emmerian Military pressed on to the east into the Moloch Desert, but was forced to halt its advance because the Estovakians threatened to destroy Gracemeria if the Emmerians continued to push forward.

Garuda Team destroyed the WMDs meant to destroy Gracemeria before they could be utilized, and the REAF provided aerial support during the operations to liberate Gracemeria, which were successful, despite the valiant Estovakian defense and the actions of ace pilot Ilya Pasternak.

With the capital retaken, REAF pilots conducted numerous patrols of the city, during which Estovakia launched a counter-attack, featuring several cruise missiles and aircraft. Using the cruise missile's flight paths, the Chandelier was found to be operational, and with this new information, the REAF launched an operation to end the war once and for all. With its destruction, the Emmerian-Estovakian War came to an end, and so did the actions of the REAF during that war.
