REPUBLIC OF EMMERIA GROUND FORCES

Background:
The Republic of Emmeria Ground Forces are a branch of the Emmerian military responsible for their land-based operations. Originally helping in peacekeeping and humanitarian missions in Estovakia, the REGF would go on to fight in the Emmerian-Estovakian War.

They fought valiantly in the defense of Gracemeria on August 30th, 2015, and later on during the operations to retake Khesed, while on the mainland, the last remnants of the REGF were holding their ground at Silvat. After a massive landing on the Anean continent, the REGF pushed forward, taking back hundreds of miles of territory in weeks, until the climatic battle at the Moloch Desert, where their offensive was halted due to the threat of Estovakian Weapons of Mass Destruction.

After the threat of the WMDs was neutralized, the REGF fought to re-take their capital city from the Estovakians, and succeeded with the help of air and naval support. Later, units of the REGF would aid the air forces during a surprise counter-attack, and would continue to crush the last holdouts of Estovakian resistance in Emmeria.

There are 2 other battalions of the REGF:

Leonid Battalion: An Emmerian Special Forces Unit, they helped the Allies in capturing Ragno Fortress (Mission 10), as well as help Warlock Battalion and Yellow Jacket Squadron in capturing the Radio Station in Gracemeria (Mission 13).

Rigel Battalion: An Emmerian Tank Battalion who assisted Warlock & Leonid Battalions as well as Yellow Jacket in capturing the Radio Station in Gracemeria (Mission 13)
