Garuda is made up of two members, Talisman and Shamrock. It's of no relevance if we can't sort the redundant F-16s, the fact of the matter is they aren't Garuda because nobody ever said they were in the game. We can't just assume they are, ES doesn't work through assumptions.

That's a cop-out and you know it. How about some real reasons here instead of, "lol, dun dey nevar get called anythang!"

You have no fact's that they AREN'T Garuda either. And since Squadrons AREN'T a single 2 man Team, they MUST be Garuda. If you don't like it, switch the topic title to Garuda Team then.

General Information

The Emmerian Air Force's 8th Air Wing, 28th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Garuda" is featured in Ace Combat 06: Fires of Liberation. They hail from Gracemeria Air Base and are a part of the capital defense forces. The squadron is quickly formed at the start of the Emmeria-Estovakian War and consists of two pilots.

X-49 is right. We can't assume the other nameless aircraft out there are Garuda, because as far as we know, Garuda is a two man 'team'/squadron. However, Tornado is also right by saying that you can't have a squadron without other members, so those F-16s could potentially be a part of the Garuda Squadron or the "follow-the-hero-around-so-he-doesn't-get-swarmed' Squadron.

It's best to just change the topic title to "Garuda Team" on this one. That way we can just write off the F-16s and focus on Talisman and Shamrock.

Well, the Emmerian Air Force took heavy casualties in the Nimbus attack, and Garuda may very well have had more than two members. However, every Emmerian fighter or attacker in AC6 all have the same tail numbers and everything, so it's pretty hard to visually confirm that more than two F-16s are Garuda's.

Yeah, I found that quite annoying. Still, Avalanche says "Half of our forces have been wiped of the radar!"

Worth noting: Emmeria uses the designation "Fighter Squadron," not "Tactical Fighter Squadron." Also, acecombat.jp defines the patch on Garuda's tail in place of an Air Combat Command insignia as the 8th AD's emblem.

Hate to necro guys but can we please change to wording from "drummed out" to medically discharged please. I'll say it again. Being drummed out is to be dishonorably discharged from active service. AND IT'S A VERY BAD THING TO BE DRUMMED OUT OF THE SERVICE!!!!!!
