That's a cop-out and you know it. How about some real reasons here instead of, "lol, dun dey nevar get called anythang!"
You have no fact's that they AREN'T Garuda either. And since Squadrons AREN'T a single 2 man Team, they MUST be Garuda. If you don't like it, switch the topic title to Garuda Team then.

General Information
The Emmerian Air Force's 8th Air Wing, 28th Tactical Fighter Squadron "Garuda" is featured in Ace Combat 06: Fires of Liberation. They hail from Gracemeria Air Base and are a part of the capital defense forces. The squadron is quickly formed at the start of the Emmeria-Estovakian War and consists of two pilots.

It's best to just change the topic title to "Garuda Team" on this one. That way we can just write off the F-16s and focus on Talisman and Shamrock.
EDIT:
Wait, we can't do that to the name. We'll just have to cut out the F-16s for now, I suppose. We've really got no idea who in the world they are.

They are allied forces form an un-important squadron that gets wiped out by Nimbus.
