Briefing:
We discovered that the unidentified laser weapon is a long-range offensive weapon, codename 'Excalibur'. We believe it to be a Belkan antiaircraft defense chemical laser weapon developed as a missile defense system. According to our information, the strike zone is heavily guarded by a jamming facility and multiple antiaircraft artillery units. Your objective is to destroy Excalibur. But to do that, you must first neutralize the jamming facility and the antiaircraft artillery. Considering the importance of your target the to the enemy, I'm afraid there is no way to avoid casualties from enemy resistance. In light of this, we have called in reinforcements. Work together with them to achieve the mission objectives.

What do the generators actually do for the Excalibur besides make a horrible annoying crackling noise and cover the tower with lightning every time it charges its laser (SHOOP DA WOOP)? The laser can still fire even when all four are down, and even if you knock out the laser first, you still have to bag the generators before you toast the tower. What do they do besides "Stabilize the voltage"? (Whatever improvement doing that provides).

I think they GENERATE Electrical power to support the Laser.......

Yes the laser still fires, but I believe that it's power is diminshed.
