MISSION 18: ZERO
Operation: ----

OPERATION: ----
DATE: 1995/12/31
TIME: 15:10
AREA: Avalon Dam
LOCATION:

*SPOILERS AHEAD! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!*

(the following briefing is made up entirely by Ribbon-Grey)

Emergency transmission:

We've confirmed the V2 has been brought back online. We believe that backup systems compensated for the systems you destroyed, and as a result the weapon can be still be fired, albeit with less accuracy. What's worse, your former wingman Foulke has appeared with the prototype ADFX-02 at his control. From this aircraft, he can remote-fire the V2. Codenamed "Morgan," this craft boasts a tactical chemical laser weapon system, highly destructive burst missiles, and a state-of-the-art ECM system.

We're currently collaborating with the new Belkan government to get full specifications on this aircraft, but we've already ran a plane analysis that sheds at least some light on the design. The laser system can be fired 180 degrees from the pod attached to the upper fuselage. This beam, though on a much smaller scale, is directly descended from the Excalibur system and will have a similar effect if it comes into contact with your plane. Carried on underwing pylons are Multi-Purpose Burst Missiles, which have a wide radius of destruction and extremely high potency. Finally, the integrated ECM system will spike the guidance systems of any missiles directed at the airframe, though there may be a weakness when targeting the front air intakes on the aircraft.

Remember - this is Pixy. He's betrayed us all, but is still one of the greatest pilots who've ever flown with us. He's attacked Lt. Beckett, and now threatens the entire world with destruction. Galm One, while the Morgan is flying a knife is at the entire world's throat. Take him down and end this war!

ACS is a anarchy where you can get away with any stupid comment, if you like ACS fine but you're wrong. No matter what logic you come up with. It is only "fun" in an online world were these conditions of anonymity exist and people can escape their lives and play alpha pseudo intellectual.

I managed it once with the F-1 but I am not sure if I was on the hardest difficulty

Yeah, just aim and fire when Pixy is facing you.

I completed it with an F-5E on Ace-level difficulty, but even then it did not really feel like a challenge. The F-1 would have been less-suited to the mission, but any fighter with a decent turn rate or air-to-air capability should be able to take out Pixy. The problem for me was evading the missiles he fired during the head-on attack section, but the Tiger was a decent-performing plane and so I was able to avoid instant incineration.
